Cast: Jack Black, Angelina Jolie

After the success of Kung Fu Panda, there was no way I was going to miss it. And that decision is purely based on the Po character – Panda basically since he is just so damn cute.

Po is living his life as the Dragon Warrior and continuing his training with Master Shifu. But his training is interrupted by an attack of Wolves on the village. Po and other try to fight them but Po loses focus when he sees a symbol on one of the wolves which reminds him of memories of his mother. Po asks his father about his mother but all the goose could tell him is that he found Po in a crate and took care of his ever since.

Meanwhile, Shen creates a new weapon and is trying to destroy the martial arts tradition. Po and other go on to stop him but Po is troubled with his memories which he doesn’t want to share with anyone. They reach Masters Storming Ox and Croc in the prison who refuse to help them since their help will force the use of the weapon by Shen destroying the city. Po and others go alone but are captured. They break through and destroy the weapon but Shen is able to escape due to Po losing sight one against due to the same sign as earlier. Po continues to try and fight his way through the nightmares realizing that Shen was responsible for him being abandoned by his parents and destroying his civilization.

There is no question that movie is amazing. The story is well linked and executed at a very fast pace. It’s like you blink and you lose something nice on the screen. The jokes are witty and are thrown just at the right moments. Action sequence as usual are nice and give a funny feel to the movie. Apart from Po who is always joking, Tigrees is serious as usual and rest of the cast fills in nicely. Animation is good and 3D effects are nice as well (though I am not a big fan of 3D myself)

Overall I would rate it as a must watch for all animation lovers and would give it 4/5

Yes, You are right when you say that Po is so cute. I loved the first movie because of the innocence he displayed and that was his biggest strength I suppose. And Part 2 in 3D is the perfect thing to happen to this movie. Am yet to see this movie but after reading your review, I have no doubt that it will be great experience.

    Thanks for the review.
